Opened in 1989 as the headquarters of Ca' D'ORO and renovated and enlarged in 2024, the plant in San Giorgio di Nogaro, in the province of Udine, between Trieste and Venice, is strategically located just a few kilometres from San Giorgio di Nogaro A4 motorway exit, from where products can be easily shipped both by sea and by road. The plant in San Giorgio di Nogaro, which covers an area of around 35,000 square metres, 8,000 of which are indoors, houses the administrative and technical offices, as well as areas for cutting and finishing the slabs and extensive storage areas. The team based in San Giorgio consists of 40 employees and skilled workers who process and handle over 9,000 cubic metres of natural stone every year. In the production area, there are 6 cutting machines, including 3 single-wire and 3 multi-wire stone cutting machines, slab polisher, a surface grinder, a flaming machine, a resin reinforcing and drying machine and a milling cutter for finishing and special processing.
Having improved its marketing positioning in Europe, Ca' D'ORO opened a branch in the heart of the Italian stone district in 2002. In 2021, the new branch, strategically located from a commercial point of view, was opened. The branch in Cavaion Veronese, which covers an area of approximately 10,000 square metres, 2,000 of which are indoors, has a wide range of granite, marble, travertine, onyx, quartzite and other precious materials on display, which is in line with the company's business philosophy, focused on customer satisfaction and quality. The team based in Verona consists of 5 employees working in the administrative and technical departments, who are responsible for both the logistical management of goods for sale and for handling and quality control of slabs processed by the company’s subcontractors.
The strategic role of the seaport and its location in the most popular quarrying area in the world convinced Ca' D'ORO to open another branch at the foot of the Apuan Alps, in 2006. At the Carrara branch, two employees are responsible for managing local subcontractors, for the procurement of precious marbles, and the logistical management of blocks arriving from all over the world.
